Jobs
Node.js & React Developer (f/m/d)
Junior & Senior · Full-time · Munich, Tyrol, Hybrid
We build headless commerce architectures for globally operating brands – Shopify Plus, Next.js, Sanity, consistently API-first and serverless on AWS. No agency mass production: alongside client projects we develop our own products, including our MACH middleware Hydropop, which connects Shopify with ERP systems like SAP. Systems that have to run under real traffic – not landing pages.
With us, you’re not just churning through tickets. You help make architecture decisions, take responsibility for your features all the way into production, and work with AI-first workflows from day one. After onboarding, you’ll join our product development – we bring e-commerce services to market as SaaS, and your code is part of it.
What you’ll build with us
- Unified APIs and event-driven integrations between Shopify and ERP, warehouse, and procurement systems
- Headless storefronts and account areas with Next.js, TypeScript, and Sanity
- Serverless services on AWS that need to scale because our customers sell globally
Our stack
- Runtime: Node.js, TypeScript
- Frontend: React, Next.js
- Infra: AWS Serverless
- Pattern: MACH
- Content: Sanity CMS
- AI: LLMs, v0.app, AWS Nova
Who we’re looking for
We don’t care if you’re junior or senior – but we do care about standards. We’re looking for people who can independently find their way around unfamiliar codebases, ask uncomfortable technical questions, and would rather truly understand a problem than stack three workarounds on top of it. If you’re applying as a junior: show us a project you’re proud of – side project, open source, whatever. If you’re applying as a senior: you’ve been responsible for systems in production and can explain what you would do differently today.
Why Moving Primates
- Real product development instead of pure project work – you build things that last
- Global brands, modern systems, no legacy baggage
- Small, specialized team with a design-driven engineering culture and short decision paths
- Munich, Tyrol or, if important, partly remote – flexible working hours
Sounds like your thing?
Don’t send us a standard application. Send us something that shows how you think: a repo, a project, an architectural decision you’d stand by – plus a short résumé to kontakt@movingprimates.de.
