Shopify Plus Agency for Growing Brands
Shopify Plus is Shopify’s enterprise version. We’ve been working with Plus since 2015—initially for Freeletics and today for brands such as BORA, Bruker, air up, yfood, and Kurzgesagt. We’ll advise you on whether Plus makes financial sense for your business, build your store using a theme or a headless architecture, and continue to support it afterward.

When Shopify Plus Is Worth It
Shopify Plus costs significantly more than the standard plans. It’s worth it if at least one of these points applies.
- Your revenue is high enough that the lower transaction fees and credit card rates offset the base fee.
- You want to customize the checkout, for example with checkout extensions, custom logic, or additional fields.
- You run multiple stores for different brands, countries, or B2B and B2C customers, and want to manage them centrally.
- You need automation with Shopify Flow, Launchpad for campaigns, or custom apps with higher API limits.
- You want single sign-on, for example via Multipass from an app or through your company login.
Many features that used to be exclusive to Plus are now also available on the standard plans, including much of the B2B functionality. That’s why, during the initial consultation, we’ll give you an honest assessment of whether Plus will make a meaningful difference for you.
What we implement on Shopify Plus

Real-World Shopify Plus Projects
BORA, headless on Plus with expansion into the UK
For the cooktop manufacturer based in Raubling, we built a headless accessories store using Shopify Plus, Remix, and Sanity. Our middleware manages products and prices, generates feeds for Google Merchant Center, and creates invoices. Filters for the extraction systems can be reordered by subscription. Following the EU launch, the UK was added via Shopify Markets. View case study
air up, 14 markets on Shopify Plus
The high demand for air up called for a store capable of handling very large numbers of visitors. We built a custom theme based on air up’s Figma design, a multi-store solution with location-based redirects for 14 markets, country-specific currencies and shipping, and the Pod Shopper, which lets customers put together fragrance pod selections in just a few clicks. Freeletics, log in from the app via Multipass
Freeletics has more than 20 million registered users. With Shopify Multipass, a button in the app transfers login details to the store, shortening the checkout process. This is complemented by multilingual multistores with a central connection to order management. View case study
Other Plus projects include Bruker, yfood, Kurzgesagt, Biogents and Tamara Comolli.
Theme or Headless on Shopify Plus
Both approaches work, and we implement both. A custom theme is faster to launch and more cost-effective to run. For air up, yfood, and Kurzgesagt, it was the right choice. Headless is worthwhile when the design, content, or data model goes beyond what themes can offer, as with BORA and Bruker. Learn more on our Headless Commerce page.
