Shopify headless commerce for Europe's mosquito hunters
For the mosquito specialistBiogents we have the newShopify Plus Store for the B2C market in Europe implemented. The focus was on amodern headless architecture withRemix, Sanity CMS und Shopify as an e-commerce backend. The aim was to create a fast, scalable and flexible shopping experience - including subscription commerce for attractants and intelligent product advice.

Design system meets brand identity
On the basis of the existing brand identity, a responsive, component-basedDesignsystem which meets the requirements for scalability, reusability and CI conformity. The user guidance and the visual appearance were developed inFigma as interactivePrototypes for mobile and desktop implemented - as a basis for decision-making and to validate the user experience before the start of development.
Content and commerce seamlessly connected
The implementation took place in ourHeadless Architektur withRemix als Frontend-Framework,Sanity.io als Headless CMS andShopify Plus as a commerce platform. Content and components were developed mobile first, with a particular focus on performance and scalability. Sanity enables the Biogents team to flexibly maintain product pages, landing pages and knowledge content.

- Recharge Subscriptions for the subscription sale of attractants - incl. self-service in the customer account
- Judge.me & Google Reviews for collecting and displaying customer reviews

- ADempiere ERP connection for invoice downloads directly in the customer area
Trap Wizard: Finding the right mosquito trap
An interactiveTrap consultant helps users to find the right mosquito trap based on factors such as climate, vegetation or mosquito species. For this purpose, we haveSanity CMS oneWizard-Editor with which the Biogents team can create logical paths of questions and answer options using drag & drop. This modular content forms a guided decision-making process in the front end, which ultimately provides a targeted product recommendation.
